It’s Skyline Time

Written by: Molly Alderson, Director of Marketing

When Edelmade approached OMS about partnering on the new Skyline website, it wasn’t just another project—it was personal. As a team rooted in Cincinnati for over 30 years, many of us grew up with Skyline, and its unmistakable flavors are woven into our memories and milestones. The opportunity to contribute to a brand that holds such iconic weight in our city stirred a special kind of excitement across the studio. We were all in.

Having lived in seven different cities, I can confidently say no place wears its food like a badge of honor quite like Cincinnati does with Skyline. It’s more than chili—it’s a language, a legacy, a local treasure. When I mention I live in Cincinnati, the first response is almost always, “Skyline Chili!” It’s a name that precedes us, and for good reason. Unlike other cities where food is known by type—cheesesteaks in Philly, pizza in New York—Skyline is a brand that is the dish. It’s not just Cincinnati chili. It is Cincinnati chili.

But more than that, Skyline is a community hub that welcomed myself and Cincinnati-outsiders with open arms. On any given day, you’ll see grandparents lingering over coneys and the Sunday paper, kids in team uniforms piling into booths, families grabbing a quick bite midweek, and regulars belly up at the counter, trading stories with staff as the cheese stacks sky-high. It’s these moments—small, joyful, and real—that make Skyline more than a meal. It’s a symbol of who we are as a city: welcoming, humble, a little quirky, and proud.

At OMS, we specialize in telling the visual stories of heritage brands like Skyline. It’s what we love to do—blend decades of technical experience with an open-minded, “let’s try it” spirit. Our studio thrives on this balance of precision and play, where creativity roams freely and inspiration finds its way into every corner.

With Edelmade’s thoughtful creative direction and Skyline’s sharp brand vision, our photographers Marci Rhodes and Delaney McQuown brought their distinct artistic flair to the table. Together, they helped craft imagery that felt both fresh and deeply rooted—an elevated take on a brand that needs no introduction, but deserves celebration.

We take tremendous pride in working with brands that fuel our city. They energize us—creatively and personally. Because to contribute to something so deeply loved, so uniquely us, is the kind of work we dream of doing. Our hometown pride is loud. In Skyline, Edelmade and our OMS family.
