Dress for Success Cincinnati & OMS Photography

OMS recently had the opportunity and privilege to partner with one of Cincinnati’s most fashionable non-profits, Dress for Success Cincinnati. 

Founded by Mary Ivers in 1999, Dress for Success Cincinnati’s mission is to provide assistance to women in need of appropriate clothing for job interviews as well as provide a stable, safe and caring environment for women as they reclaim their lives. 

The Dress for Success Cincinnati team was delightful to work with and provided a clear vision of what they were looking for for their photoshoot. They asked real DFS volunteers to model clothing from DFS’s retail clothing shop, Portaluca.

“From learning about our local chapter, meeting the wonderful volunteers, and really getting to know these women that care so much about what they do has left me inspired and feeling wholesome. My goal for the photoshoot was to capture a representation of the energy, personality, and love these volunteers have for this organization. I love that clothing can be more than just a trend or fashion statement but it can capture the transformative power of individuals and share identity and confidence. I am beyond excited to see the images out in the wild and hope they can speak to the passion of Dress For Success.” – Photographer, Krys Hackett
